Sack-Trucks.com is the
trading name of Castle Forklifts Ltd of Rugby established
in 1975.
We are one of the longest
established independent materials handling companies in UK
and we only market proven and well made equipment.
Before offering new products
we rigorously test them for suitable design, durability, quality and
value. Only when we are fully satisfied that they meet
our high standards do we offer them for sale.
We can thus offer a 30 day satisfaction
guarantee on our sack trucks. Indeed if for
any reason one of our sack trucks fails to meet with your
expectations then simply return it to us in good
condition in it's original packaging for a refund. Naturally
misuse and overloading are excluded.
In addition to sack trucks we
offer trolleys, carts, pallet trucks, stackers, scissor lift
tables etc plus our comprehensive range of forklifts, reach
trucks and order pickers for sale or hire.
You can order in confidence
safe in the knowledge that you are dealing with one of the
UK's longest established and most respected independent
materials handling companies.
When used properly these
trucks can be a real labour saver, however if used
incorrectly they can be awkward and uncomfortable. It
all depends on the way they are loaded. The rated capacity
shown for each model is designed to sit over the axle and
wheels when the trolley is tilted backwards towards the user
about 30 degrees. Then it is comfortably balanced and
easy to use. If the load is too far forward the truck
has to be tilted back excessively meaning the user has to
propel it in a stooping position which is ergonomically bad
and can cause back problems. So always carefully assess the
best way to carry any load before attempting to move it.
Also it is important to
remember that a load with its centre of gravity too far
forward can damage a truck as it is tilted back even though
it may weigh far less than the rated capacity.
Maintenance is simple, an
occasional visual check for loose bolts/fittings, oil the
wheel bearings once a year and keep pneumatic tyres pumped
up to 20psi. (1.5 bar). And finally - be careful who you
lend it to!
We always welcome your comments and suggestions and thank you for
